Biography
Glenn Goodspeed sang in church choirs
from an early age and started playing guitar as a teenager. By
the age of nineteen, he fronted his own band and played nightclubs in
Denton and Dallas, Texas. After a few years, Glenn became
interested in making a living. Music was left at the curb for a
while. When he took it up again, it was as a bass player.
Bass appealed to him as an instrument of great power with a low
profile. As a bass player, Glenn is content to leave stage antics to others, although his spirited bass lines and soulful singing cannot be hidden away. Glenn has played with the Soul Binders, Maurio Marcus and the Quad Bs, among others. For a few years, he fronted his own band called Goodspeed & Friends. |
